Sharjah Health Authority signs MoU with Aster DM Healthcare to expand healthcare coverage for residents and 25% discount on all medical treatment at Aster facilities for Emiratees in Sharjah, elderly residents and Government staff
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 13, 2018: Sharjah Health Authority and Aster DM Healthcare, a leading private healthcare provider signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide Sharjah residents with top quality medical care ranging from primary to quaternary care at discounted rates. The agreement offers elderly residents of Sharjah and Emiratees living in Sharjah a 25 per cent discount on all kinds of treatments across Aster DM Healthcare’s facilities. Sharjah government employees, their dependents and retirees covered under health Insurance will get 25 per cent discount on non-covered segments and fast track appointments. The beneficiaries will have access to a full range of services offered at Aster DM Healthcare’s Medcare, Aster and Access hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and optical stores across the GCC as well as India. The agreement also promises arrangements for air travel, accommodation and visa for patients who need to travel to Aster DM Healthcare’s facilities outside the UAE. Zulekha Hospital signs MoU with Sharjah Health Authority to provide affordable medical services to local residents & senior citizens in the Emirate
Sharjah, UAE, 09 April, 2018: Zulekha Hospital today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sharjah Health Authority (SHA) The aim of the MoU is to provide quality medical treatments at discounted rates to the Authority’s beneficiaries. This includes Sharjah Government employees, their dependents and retirees covered under Insurance scheme, elderly residents in the Emirate of Sharjah not holding insurance coverage and additionally UAE nationals based in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The MoU was signed by His Excellency Abdulla Ali Al Mahyan, member of Executive Council & Chairman – SHA, Sharjah Healthcare City & University Hospital Sharjah and Dr. Zulekha Daud – Founder and Chairperson, Zulekha Healthcare Group.

His Excellency Abdulla Ali Al Mahyan said: “This collaboration with Zulekha Healthcare Group is to facilitate the improvement of healthcare for the UAE nationals who are based in the Emirate of Sharjah, especially for the employees of Govt of Sharjah as well as the elderly. The core purpose of this private-public MoU is to provide the best in class healthcare services for the Emirate which comes in line with the cabinet’s vision to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world by the year 2021.”

The MoU will see patients referred to Zulekha Healthcare Group’s facilities to receive fast-track medical attention and treatment as and when required. The hospital will inform the concerned patients about post treatment follow-up and recommendations followed by a progress report and case summary during and after the treatment period.
